Pennard Hill Farm is a small working farm, owned and managed by the Chambers family.

We moved to the farm in July 2009 from Suffolk, where we have been farming for over 25 years. We have now relocated to this glorious part of Somerset with our two children, Pippa and Peter. The children are both away at University in the term time but take an active part in running the farm during their holidays.

We have brought our 3 dogs, 2 cats, rare breed sheep, pigs and ponies across from Suffolk and they have all settled in well. We have a lovely pond where our Indian Runner ducks spend their days accompanied by a host of wildlife including moorhens and at the moment, a couple of herons. We have a number of free range of Silkie bantams which can provide you with beautiful, although small, fresh eggs when they are laying.

The grassland is grazed by our neighbouring farmer’s dairy cattle which, with Glastonbury Tor clearly visible in the background, make a beautiful picture of rural Somerset life.
