Feast of 9 year old Herdwick Mutton:

We are kicking off this season of feasting with a celebration of this incredibly special and unique meat, with nine years of grass fed, slow grown marbling and depth of flavour, this is lamb like you have never tasted before. Having lived a gentle life here on the farm, this mature rare breed has a flavour almost akin to venison, with a deliciously sweet fat that crisps up beautifully over the wood fire. Served with autumnal vegetables and salads from the no-dig garden and hedgerows, along with several other treats from the farm.

Supper will be served at 7.45pm, however, between 6.30pm and 7.15pm you can also join us for a selection of small plate appetisers, available to purchase on the night.
