Bristol Cider Festival

Somerset – your very own slice of lush British countryside, with its rolling hills, historic towns and cities, and its rich heritage, there’s a lot to love about this county. But one thing that people tend to associate most with Somerset, is, of course, cider!

The Bristol Cider Festival takes place on the 27th and 28th of January. There’s nothing more Somerset-like than a cider festival, so why not come down for the weekend?

Bristol Cider Festival involves one of the biggest collections of real ciders and perries in the west as well as drawing one of the biggest crowds. You will have over 100 ciders to choose from, many of which are award-winning!

For the kids, or those still going strong with ‘Dry January’ there’s still plenty to enjoy besides the cider. On offer will be a wide choice of soft drinks, as well as hog roast rolls and cheese platters.

The festival is also an opportunity to get creative, with a prize on offer for the best-dressed cider drinker on the night!

There’s entertainment to look forward to as well. Somerset’s leading Wurzels tribute band – The Mangledwurzels – will be playing a full show each day to get you in the cider drinking mood.

Can’t make the Bristol Cider Festival? – Well, we’ve got good news for you! The same festival is also coming to Bath on the 24th and 25th of February. The Festival includes all of the ciders, food and entertainment as the Bristol Cider Festival, but in the glorious city of Bath. That’s two reasons to come to Somerset of the weekend.
